team fervent.

Hello everyone! As I was thinking about my next blog post, I thought why not introduce my beloved team. Team Fervent. 

fer·vent: having or showing great warmth or intensity of spirit, feeling, enthusiasm

We came up with this team name at 10:30 at night while sitting in a field under the stars (what a special place too). We were throwing out names that started with the letter ‘F’ since we are F squad, and I said fervent. 

 

Our verse for this special word is Romans 12:11-12. Our goal is to be on fire for the Lord, and never lack zeal. We want to be the team where you see the love of Jesus pour out of us not only by actions and words, but how we love others. 

The most special part about this verse is that when our sweet team leader, Leanna, was praying over our team a while back, this same exact verse is what the Lord put on her heart. 

So without further ado, team fervent ladies and gents…

 

Ana. The other southern gal on my team. Her love for her state and kolaches is like none-other. The most gentle, beautiful, loyal person you will ever meet. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by how gentle she is with others. How she is quick to listen and slow to speak. She literally radiates and can light up any room with her smile and laugh. The way she praises Abba is so beautiful.

Mackenzi. What a light. She is creative, kind-hearted, patient and dependable. She is a great example of using your gifts to glorify the One who gave them to her. She sees the beauty in everything. She speaks so much wisdom and truth. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by her kindness, and is easily one of the most approachable people I have ever met. 

Anna. The yerba queen herself. What a joy to be around. She sets the tone for our group. She is passionate, joyful, whitty, reliable and fearless. She isn’t afraid to be vulnerable. She is quick to do for others and won ‘t let you down. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by the joy she has in her heart. She knows how to have fun and be goofy, but she also knows how to praise our Lord by leading worship. Literally the coolest girl I have ever met. 

Rachel. Wow. Wise beyond her years and speaks so much truth with so much grace. She is wise, quick to listen, patient, loving, and such a good friend. She refers everything she does back to the Lord. She is always there to refer you back to what Abba says about you. I have never in my life heard someone speak such heavy words and prayers before. There is nothing like it. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by how patient she is. 

Abigail. The actual definition of an enneagram 2. She has the biggest servant’s heart, she is gentle, kind, loving, loyal, caring and sweet. She is always quick to serve and love. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by the way she serves. She does for others before anyone does anything for her. She is always checking on those around her and making sure she makes everyone around her feel seen, heard and loved. 

Liv. One of the most hard-working people I’ve ever met. She is quick to serve, work, love, care and be there for anyone that needs her. She is always up for an adventure and isn’t afraid of anything (other than spiders). She is fearless, yet fears the Lord and has a heart to live out her life to glorify Him. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by the way she cares. She cares about everyone around her, and can bring life to any room she enters by the energy she brings. 

And last, but definitely not least… my leader, mentor and role model- Leanna Murphy. She exemplifies Abba’s heart by the way she loves. MAN. She loves so well. I have never met someone like her. She literally is there for anybody. She is approachable, joyful, loving, quick to listen, beautiful, strong and a ball of light. She is one of my favorite people ever. She has been there during the hard times while here, has listened to my problems, has seen me at my most vulnerable state, and she loves me no matter what. THAT is Abba pouring out of her. That is a reflection of how Abba loves us, and she does it so well. She has easily been one of the most influential people in my walk with Christ. 

Well there ya have it folks! The beautiful women of Christ yall have seen pictures and heard about summed up in one post, but there honestly isn’t enough words to describe each of their hearts. I could write a book about the memories we have already made in these past 2 weeks, and how much love I have for each of them. To know them is to love them, and man what an honor that is.
